These images have then inspired the design as seen here. The design images show a visualisation of how the sculpture may take shape in the space.  The mini sculpture has been made from simple transparencies and collage of the maps and blue grill feature of the building as mentioned above.  The proposed sculpture will be doubled layered (with a gap as shown).  However the proposed sculpture will be more rigid,  as each circle would be fixed to another.  There may be some movement on the piece, but it is not intended to look like a mobile in any way!

The final workshop (preferably adults) is wanted for fine tuning of the proposed design and to investigate desirable and inspiring colour combinations.  Do come along if you can!

The completed piece will be made using transparent Perspex (which will look like glass but be substantially less heavy) and will be lit in such a way that the colour and the designs on the works will be cast around the entrance lobby. In addition the light throughout the day will continuously alter the way the piece looks and is viewed.
